My friend Rita offered to take my largest plant - some 30" in diameter.
Plants might travel across town -- but not some 700 miles across the state line in a moving van. The heat and lack of air alone would kill them -- not to mention being crushed.
My "survival" carry-on items in my car will include my bird -- but not my plants! I've got another half dozen to give away.

No progress updates in almost a week and your blog was off to such an interesting start!

Well Ron, I am still working a 40 hour week. So yes, packing is interrupted.
